Bandarban, Khagrachari & Rangamati

 

Bandarban, Rangamati & Khagrachari  are district in South-Eastern Bangladesh, and a part of the Chittagong Division. It is one of the three hill districts of Bangladesh and a part of the Chittagong Hill Tracts, Bandarban district (4,479 km2) is not only the most remote district of the country, but also the least populous (population 292,900).

Bandarban: It is one of the remote district of Bangladesh. But most of the beautiful & adventurous places are located there. The three highest peaks of Bangladesh – Tahjindong,  (1280 meters, also known as Bijoy), Mowdok Mual (1052 meters), and Keokradong (883 metres) – are located in Bandarban district, as well as Raikhiang Lake, the highest lake in Bangladesh. Chimbuk Peak and Boga Lake are two more highly noted features of the district.

Rangamati is another site viewing district under hilly region at Chittagong division. Kaptay Lake, Kaptay Hanging Breze & Kaptay water based electricity production center are most popular.

 View of local cuisine at Kaptay Lake. You find many big & small food restaurant in the midst of the lake where the food supply according to your demand. But there have some exception like a curry which cook in to the bamboo, many fishes from lake that would have in lunch. Wild roaster also cook for visitors.
